Echobot

Turning sales intelligence into a story people remember.

Overview

Echobot provides one of Europe's leading sales intelligence platforms, helping businesses discover qualified leads, monitor market changes, and identify new sales opportunities through GDPR-compliant company data.

The Challenge

Sales intelligence platforms offer powerful capabilities, but explaining them can quickly become overwhelming.
The challenge wasn't simply showcasing features—it was translating abstract concepts such as lead generation, company intelligence, sales triggers, and market insights into a story that felt clear, engaging, and enjoyable to watch.
The animation needed to simplify complexity without reducing the value of the product.

Creative Direction- From Features to Superpowers

Rather than introducing these capabilities through a traditional product demonstration, the objective was to transform complex software into an engaging visual story that people could immediately understand and remember.

The result is a character-driven 3D explainer that presents each product benefit as a unique "superpower," making an enterprise SaaS platform feel approachable, memorable, and human.

Storyboard

Building the World

Creating the animation meant designing an entire visual universe rather than individual scenes.
Every character, prop, and environment was designed specifically for the project, creating a consistent visual world that supported the playful concept while maintaining the credibility expected from a B2B SaaS product.

Although originally created for the explainer, the 3D assets proved flexible enough to extend beyond the initial deliverable. Following the launch, Echobot's marketing team continued using the characters and supporting visuals across additional campaigns, allowing the visual language to remain consistent long after the film was released.

Character Design

The central character was designed as the visual ambassador of the product, transforming complex software capabilities into an approachable and memorable personality.
Built from scratch and fully rigged for animation, the character became the foundation of the project's visual language, one that later extended beyond the explainer itself into additional marketing campaigns.

Reflection

This project reinforced how storytelling can transform the way complex products are introduced.
Rather than asking viewers to understand technical features, the animation communicates value through character, metaphor, and motion making enterprise software feel approachable without sacrificing clarity.
It remains a reminder that the most memorable explainers don't simply present information; they create an experience people can easily follow and remember.
